I trried the 300BLK Boar AXE in two suppressed SBR’s, an H&K 53 w/8.5″ barrel & Sig MCX w/9″ barrel. The ammo functioned well in both and was very accurate, with the exception of the MCX, which wouldn’t cycle when using a CAT MOB suppressor, due to the fact that it doesn’t add enough back pressure. When I changed the suppressor to a Gemtech One, the problem was solved.
I intended to use this ammo for nigh feral hog control, unfortunately, I used up the whole amount I initially ordered for testing an sight in.
I’m anxiously awaiting for it to become available again!

Ammo runs good in my suppressed 7.5″ ar, and very accurate at 100 yds. Shot through 3 gallons of water (25yds) and bounced off a steel place hard enough to flatten that side of the bullet. It peeled open very well without losing any petals. Only problem with this ammo I have is its light and doesnt cycle my cheaper gun hard enough. I polished the feed ramps and put a reduced recoil spring in it, now it runs reliable but doesnt always lock open on last shot (not a huge deal). I do plan on getting an 8.5″ barrel with an adjustable gas block that should take care of the problem. Great ammo for the price and you’ll rarely find subsonic 300blk that will expand.

Knocked down a 200lb boar with these last fall. 7.5″ 1:5t Faxon barrel suppressed. Very happy with the performance
